This brushless RC truck is ready for off-road bashing with included radio and durable design.
Performance
The Big Rock’s 2050Kv brushless motor and 150A Smart ESC work with 4S or 6S LiPo batteries (not included) to hit speeds up to 65 mph with the optional speed pinion. Its 4WD system, with steel driveshafts and metal gears, powers through dirt, grass, or gravel. Adjustable oil-filled shocks smooth out rough terrain, but some users find the stock shocks soft for heavy jumps, fixable with upgrades. The dBoots Ragnarok V2 tires grip well, though they may struggle on wet surfaces. The Spektrum S665 servo ensures strong steering control.
Design and Features
The gunmetal polycarbonate body, with a clipless mount system, looks tough and stays secure during crashes. The integrated roll hoop and truck bed add durability, while light buckets allow optional LED installation (sold separately). The body may scratch during rough play, and some note the weight affects agility compared to lighter trucks. The five-spoke wheels and vented tires enhance the scale look, with aftermarket parts available for customization.
Ease of Use and Maintenance
The Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz radio offers easy control for beginners, with a 50-meter range. You’ll need a 4S/6S LiPo battery and charger (not included), providing 15–25-minute runtimes. The chassis is easy to clean, but small screws may wear out. Water-resistant electronics handle light splashes, not submersion. Four AA transmitter batteries are included.
