Performance

This model features a 540-size brushed motor paired with a 4WD drivetrain, delivering smooth throttle response and strong low-speed torque for crawling. It is designed more for trail driving and moderate obstacles rather than extreme competition crawling. Portal axles increase ground clearance and improve approach angles, helping the truck navigate rocks, roots, and uneven terrain with better stability.

Design and Features

The SCX10 III Base Camp includes a licensed Chevrolet K10 body with scale details such as molded grille, lights, and classic square-body styling. Underneath, it uses a steel C-channel chassis that adds rigidity and realism. Oil-filled shocks and a multi-link suspension system provide articulation while maintaining control on uneven terrain.

Control

The included Spektrum 2.4GHz radio system offers proportional throttle and steering for precise handling. The steering response is tuned for crawling, allowing careful control over obstacles.
