The FMS FSC24 Chaser 1/24 4WD Ready-to-Run Short Course Truck is a compact off-road basher featuring a brushed motor, full-time 4WD, working LED headlights/taillights, and a 2.4GHz transmitter. Performance

The brushed motor pushes the truck to ~18 km/h (11 mph) on 2S power. Full-time 4WD and soft short-course tires deliver solid traction on loose surfaces. Independent suspension soaks up small bumps and jumps up to 10 cm. Low-speed torque is excellent for crawling out of ruts, while top speed is quick enough for fun racing. Real-world runtime averages 18–25 minutes per charge.

Build Quality

Metal gearbox gears, oil-filled shocks, and sealed ball bearings are impressive at this scale. The polycarbonate short-course body is flexible and survives rollovers well. Electronics are splash-proof. Only minor weak point: plastic wheel hexes can round out with extreme bashing (metal upgrades ~$10).

Control

The 2.4 GHz pistol-grip transmitter offers full proportional throttle and steering with ~80 m open-field range. Response feels instant, and steering trim is easy to dial in. Transmitter runs on 4×AA batteries (not included).
