Performance
The SixtyThree uses a 540 brushed motor and LRH285 chassis to cruise smoothly or hop with flair, reaching speeds up to ~15 mph on a 7.4V 3200mAh LiPo battery (included). The 4WD system powers scale hopping via a REEFS V2 servo and two 35KG rear axle servos, controlled by the LR6X six-channel 2.4GHz radio with lowrider-style switches. The adjustable front bellcrank and independent suspension mimic real lowrider moves, but heavy hopping may strain plastic gears, fixable with metal upgrades. Wet surfaces can reduce tire grip, so stick to pavement for best results.
Design and Features
The pre-painted red polycarbonate body features 23 chrome-plated parts, like bumpers and grilles, plus clear windows with chrome trim for a realistic look. The interior includes a detailed dashboard and chrome steering wheel. Scale 13” radial reverse lace wheels with 5.2” whitewall tires add authenticity. The magnetic body mounts make access easy, but the body may scratch during rough tricks. No LED lights are included, though spaces are ready for optional kits. Aftermarket parts support customization, like convertible body options.
Ease of Use and Maintenance
The LR6X radio is easy to use, with switches for hopping and cruising, perfect for beginners over a 50-meter range. The included 7.4V 3200mAh LiPo battery offers 15–20-minute runtimes, charging in 2–3 hours with the USB charger. Maintenance is simple with a removable differential cover, but small screws may loosen. Water-resistant electronics handle light splashes. Four AA batteries for the radio are included.
